Wondering ‘how much to eat’ or ‘have you eaten enough’ will continue to puzzle you beyond (frustrating) belief as long as you’re attempting to control your weight (aka dieting).
Meaning attempts at trying to control your weight will render you confused, struggling and feeling ‘out of control’ around food NOT clear, conscious and intuitive (which is what’s needed if you’re going to give yourself any success at getting the ‘how much do I eat’ and ‘have I eaten enough’ questions ‘right’)
Let’s be real: Intuitive and mindful eating can not exist when and where there’s an undercurrent of control, fear and threat – threat that if you ‘slip up’ or make a ‘mistake’ that all hell will break loose.
Understanding what your body needs and how much it needs is a present moment task. Which means it will so rarely be ‘solved’ in the long run with pre planned ‘food control’ (i.e. meal planners and ready made diet meals) its validity is statistically insignificant….
