The combination of gingerbread flavours: cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg just makes me melt. I like my gingerbread to be flavoured quite strongly but in this recipe I’ve keep it mind little children’s more sensitive pallets.
A few notes:
+ This recipe can also be used to create a gingerbread house (one that no one- not even the pickiest of children- will know is healthy!), though you will need to make a few batches depending on the house you are making.
+ This gingerbread recipe is lovely eaten as raw gingerbread. Simply omit the baking powder in the recipe. Chill in the freezer before eating. Delicious.
