Taking inspiration from this book I decided to write a post on the ‘The 4 languages of dieting’ (this could be the basis of a really good book- would need a title change so I’m not infringing copyright though!). The idea behind this post is to have a little fun listing some of the primary reasons for dieting- and- to get you thinking about what might be your ‘dieting language’. And of course I include some ways to help you to move forward.
Do you feel like no one will notice you, love you, want to befriend you, be attracted and drawn to you if you don’t look a certain way? You’re the kind of lady who’s constantly on the look out for the next fad diet, the next exercise plan, the best selling cook book that all promise you the killer body, the best way to lose the weight (and fast) and the best way to make ‘long lasting lifestyle changes’ that stick (aka: so you can keep the weight off for good).
Deep down you’re insecure, feel unworthy and haven’t really got much of an idea about how magnificent you really are. Because you place such a strong belief in the idea that what you and/ or others look like is the MOST important feature/ quality/ value and defining factor, you’re missing out on a whole lot of living. Living that feels fun, freeing, energetic, happy and loving….
